Weekly Recap- Obsessions, Trends & New Finds

We are going to start doing Friday Recaps! This will let us share with you what we've been obsessing over week to week, because if you know us then you know that we obsess over just about anything from a new planner to a new pair of Christian Loubs. This week has been extremely busy because we have been preparing for the big day.. the LAUNCH of LabelDoll.com but working those late nights and getting up at the crack of dawn has allowed us to find some new obsessions..

It isn't everyday that you find an online boutique filled with ridiculously reasonably priced items of good quality that you actually like. mikkatmarket.com allows you to browse without sweating over the high prices and having that overwhelming buyers remorse feeling, what's not to love?!




Handbag: Vintage shoulder bag
I am loving this vintage bag I found in a boutique in Soho this past fall while I was visiting the Big Apple. It is a great way to add a little spice to an outfit that needs that little added flair. It fits all my essentials with a little extra room for the the extra goodies that always find their way into my bags. It has a thin (worm like) shoulder chain a silver/iridescent color and a cute little chain tassel for that added detail. 

Accessory: My iPhone.. 
I know I know that's not technically an accessory but it's as important as that perfect accessory! I would be lost with out the constant twitter updates and my schedule at my fingertips (literally). That thing is attached at the hip, maybe I should get one of those phone cases that hooks on to my pants?!? Ok, I won't go that far.. but that get's me thinking, there's market out there for a fashionable-hip-phone case hmmmm...

Jewelry: Michael Kors Watch
Punctuality is important to me, so why not be punctual and stylish. I love my MK watch and would be lost (and late) without it! 

Celeb: Kourtney Kardashian
She is my favorite doll (of the week). She is such a little firecracker! She is always stepping outside the box, and starting trends that I love to follow. She isn't afraid to take a chance, even when the whole world is watching. I especially loved her outfit this week on her way to visit Vera Wang. She was wearing a Bec & Bridge suit and shirt, Christian Louboutin shoes, Hermes bangle and bag and a Disney wrap around bracelet.

Fall 2011 Trend Report

Fall into the... Gap?

Gap is definitely keeping up with the trends this season. They were all about loose fitting tops and tight leggings, and the fact that they are liquid just makes it all the better. Gap's accessory designs have a hint of Chanel mixed with Michael Kors. We're definitely falling into the Gap THIS Fall!

I'm hungry for some Bur-Berrys

Burberry Prorsum kick starts fall with a punch of color. Their color palette is sooo tasty! The structural yet feminine silhouettes make for a beautiful Fall collection, did I mention their accessories are TO-DIE-FOR?? We'll be sure to satisfy your hunger with some colorful picks from this collection (coming soon)!

Keeping up with the Kor-Dashians...

Michael Kors had so many jumpers in his Fall '11 collection it was starting to make me think of my favorite Dolls... Kim, Kourt, and Khloe. Mr. Kors did a beautiful job intertwining the practical working women with the more luxurious jet setter. The fabrics for the season are luxe and the drapery is killer! Michael Kors never skips a beat and has a little something for every woman. LOVE.

Excuse me Mr. Lagerfeld, what did you do with Jackie?

It seems the Jackie O silhouette is OUT and the on-the-go doll is IN. Jackie O is living and breathing through the tweed and details that are always SO Chanel, but it seems that they have went to the darker side. Is Mr. Lagerfeld upset about something? Because if so, it's working! I am loving the play on fabrics and silhouettes, but I can't help but thinking... I miss Jackie! Maybe next season dolls, until then see our site for Chanel accessories!

Stuff at Night - Spring Fashion Issue

Happy International Women's Day!

We are celebrating the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day! I think 'Video' by India Arie is a great theme song on this monumental day. Every woman should follow the theme of this song which is, loving yourself unconditionally, because you are a queen. (or in our case a Doll) For me my mom is the number one most influential person in my life. She has always been my number one supporter at every stage of my life. Spring 2011 Fashion Trends

With winter coming to an end and spring approaching, all of us here at Label Doll have put together some of the top spring 2011 fashion trends. Jumpsuits have been making a huge comeback this year! A loose and flowing jumpsuit is perfect for both the spring and summer while a tailored jumpsuit is perfect for the office look and a night on the town. Label Doll's Best Dressed Picks

You never know what you're going to see on the red carpet. Some were a hit and some were a miss from last nights Academy Awards. But these three looks were flawless. First Gwyenth Paltrow looks absolutely stunning in this Calvin Klein number. I am loving the simplicity the dress epics. The color is a bit different than what we are used to seeing on Gwyenth but I don't hate it! I am loving the neckline- it's sexy but not showing too much. This look is classy and fabulous. Next I am loving how Cate Blanchett stepped outside the box in this beautiful Givenchy Haute Couture dress. She always looks stunning, especially last night. I love when the red carpet doesn't stop these celebs from stepping out of their comfort zone. The detailing speaks for itself, the pearl and crystal encrusted gown has just the right amount of sexy and the lilac color is soft and romantic. Last but certainly not least Mila Kumis killed it in this Elie Saab gown. Some may say it's not 'dressy enough' for the Oscars but I say she looks stunning. This dress is funky yet elegant. Maybe its the lilac color that is getting me exciting for spring, but either way it works to say the least.
